I used to dislike cats.

I always never quite understood why people like cats in the past.

or at least, the grown cats. kittens are cute but enver the grown cats.
no matter how i chose to look at them, they're like a furball that scratches.
i have a scar on my wrist frm a cat scratch.

maybe it was because - the only cat breed(s) i saw were those boring house cat and stray cats.
never the pure breeds.

a whole new world of appreciation for cats dawned onto me only when i had nyamo.

well, it wasn't my kitten to begin in the first place but i had my share in taking care of it. though it was a little monster that scratched and bit the hell out of me, i loved it to bits. then i started loving cats. i still love dogs and all other lil cute animals out there but now i love cats too.

i remembered 'fondly' the moments when nyamo would secretly sneak up on me to pounce on my leg and bite the hell out of it or the moments where i have to run for my life and jump all over the couches while the stupid kitten chase after me to have a bite at my hands/feets.

then i remember the moment where it went nuts on the springy pokemon doll i'll use to play with it to distract it from my feet.

the only affectionate moments were when i'm about to feed it. as i prepare the food it'll meow and rub it's head and body against my legs. but soon after it'll attack me again. rar..

nonetheless, i developed a liking for cats and finally understood wad's so pretty about them.

side tracking a little, it was bruce the snake catcher frm australia that got me appreciating snakes (i totally could not understand why they think snakes were 'gorgeous'). now i do. i liked mike and mark, i liked steve irwin and i liked jeff corwin. they each introduced me to something new and make me appreciate nature/animals better.

mom saw a newsppr advertisement abt a cat exhibition and informs me abt it.

SO MANY PPL AT EXPO!

but not for cat exhibition. lol

Comex lah. duh. sg ppl chiong computer/digital stuff one yea.



it got so damn jammed packed at the mrt's walkway to expo entrance.

the Comex fair took up hall 4, 5 and 6.

the cat exhibition was in hall 1b. the far end of expo so i walked from the outside instead.

BK was ridiculously packed. so many ppl feeling unhealthy that day lol in fact every eatery was packed with humans.


cars everywhere. bikes parked anyhow. cannot see road.

scary lah.

chingling was havin church in expo. since we meeting for ltr i asked her to look for us first.
ah yi was on her way over for the cat exhibition too.

in the meanwhile, since i'm bored, i decided to test out my new hp's camera capabilities.
